A Tradition of Helping Children Grow and Learn
St. Peter’s Child Development Center is committed to providing developmental programs that enrich the lives of children and families. Childcare programs emphasize the whole development of your growing child–emotional, physical, social, spiritual and academics using a curriculum and activities that make learning and growing fun. Children enjoy a caring faith-filled atmosphere that builds positive self-esteem while stimulating their development.
St. Peter’s has a long history of providing excellent early childhood education. The preschool program has been in existence since 1968 and the Mother’s Day Out program started in 1981. The daycare program was added in 1997 when the Center’s new facility was constructed.
There are more than 35 members of the CDC staff who bring with them years of experience and a shared commitment to creating an environment where learning and play are combined to aid in the development of children. Our staff turn-over is low and our lead teachers have an average of 6 years experience or a degree in early childhood education. Staff members participate in 12-14 hours of continuing education each year and are current in infant and child CPR.
